Purpose of this Website

To guide young musicians towards becoming more accomplished instrumentalists in easy to follow and understand courses that will help them make the most out of their band experience.

This website was created as a requirement toward MUS 618 Seminar: Ped (Practical Application)

Course Objectives

1. To develop conductor skills through improvement of area specific instrumental, rehearsal and managerial understanding.

2. To create materials that synthesize information for use with the candidate's own band program.

3. To develop a related project coinciding with candidate study areas as they relate to student development on flute, oboe, clarinet, saxophone, bassoon, trumpet, horn, trombone, euphonium, tuba and percussion as well as rehearsal techniques and all related areas.
